500 count Medium Mealworms
Mealworms can be mixed with other feed to get the ideal mixture that your birds will devour.
Bluebirds love mealworms and it is a treat to see them feed the worms to their babies. Just because you don't have bluebirds dosn't mean you can't feed mealworms. Chickadees, nuthatches and titmice eat mealworms from feeders. Other birds that eat mealworms regularly at feeders include wrens, orioles, robins, woodpeckers and some warblers, like the Pine warbler.

***Mealworms can be stored for several weeks if not months in refrigeration. They come packaged in a plastic cup, just simply put them in the refrigerator. Remove your mealworms from the fridge once every 7 to 10 days, let them warm up to room temperature, then feed them a carrot for a few hours. This is how they get their drink of water and will stay fresh and plump.
